Well, for those of you who started watching the show, thank you. Hannibal has been renewed for a second season. A great series has begun.
Note: Could Hannibal do for horror like what Fringe did for Science-fiction.

Hannibal Episode 1.09
As the season heads into its final 5 episodes "Trou Normand" is an excellent start to the finish line. The crime scene in this one is the craziest one yet, a totem pole of bodies. It's a very intriguing murder case scenario that ends up being pretty simple. The pole stands for the killers body count and the body's on the top and bottom are his last and first.
Besides that this episode delves deeper into Will Graham's ever breaking psyche as now he is loosing track of time (3 hours!) and starting to talk out lectures when no one is actually in the room. Professor
Bloom comes in during his prep-lecture to confess her reasons for not wanting to be with him (they kissed in a previous episode). She confirms what he doesn't want to here, he's unstable. He has a tough time talking to Jack about this but a much smoother time confessing it to Hannibal Lector (his psychiatrist)
Abigail comes back in this one as the body of Nicholas turns up and Jack Crawford starts asking questions (believing Abigail to be a helper with her dad's crimes) Again I must gush over the acting in this, the girl playing Abby is terrific and her moments with Hannibal are sincere, tense and gushing with emotion.
The killer is later to be revealed to be played by Lance Henricksen. This showcases the show for casting great actors in small, efficient roles.
Everything comes to a head in this episode as Will finally learns that Abigail killed Nicholas Boils and that Hannibal tried to cover it up. Hannibal confesses and notes that if he not do what he did Jack would hang Abigail for her father's crimes. Eventually Abby tells Lector that she helped her dad catch the girls but it is ambiguous if she was just helping her dad so he wouldn't kill her or if her dad was trying to make her like him.
Great insight into Will Graham's mental issues, Hannibal's continuing loyalty to Will and Abigail's character arc make for a very enjoyable episode. Can't wait to see how things continue with Will.
Next Week's episode
Hello all, I'll try and write a review for next week's episode and maybe re-watch this week's episode and write a review. If there are any fans of Eddie Izzard he makes a reappearance on the show next week so check it out. Also, sad news to report the show has dipped in the ratings yet again! More people need to watch the show, please don't let this fantastic series die!
Update: May 31st/2013 - 9:12 am
Apologies the episode that aired this week turned out to be a different one, not the one with Eddie Izzard.

Hello, this is a blog I have created to honour the recent show on NBC. I am becoming a big fan of it and want people to start watching the show. Its a great show with a great cast and some amazing writing. I will post any fan art as well thats tasteful towards the show. And I think I will start giving my opinions on episodes. Here's hoping the show gets renewed.
